SOLEDAD — Soledad Hair Company will be giving free haircuts, distributing 250 backpacks and providing school supplies to students (12 years and under) in need on Sunday, Aug. 11, during its Back to School Giveaway. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Soledad Hair Company, 709 Front St., in Soledad. Organizers said the giveaway is “dedicated to giving back to our community and ensuring students are well-prepared for a successful school year.”
