Annsville, N.Y. — A tornado touched down in a rural section of Oneida County last week as severe thunderstorms swept through the region, officials said. The tornado descended at 3:19 p.m. last Tuesday in the town of Annsville and was on the ground for about 11 minutes, according to a statement released Monday evening by the National Weather Service’s Binghamton office.

Teenager Walks into Hospital with Gunshot Wound, Police Investigate
(WNY News Now) – SYRACUSE, NY – A 17-year-old male walked into University Hospital with a gunshot wound to his left hand, prompting an active police investigation. On Saturday, July 20, 2024, at approximately 9:47 p.m., uniformed officers with the Syracuse Police Department responded to University Hospital at 750 East Adams Street. The officers found the teenage victim in the emergency room, suffering from injuries consistent with being struck by gunfire. The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening.

Teen Injured in Bradley Street Shooting: Police Seek Public’s Help
(WNY News Now) – Syracuse – On Sunday, July 21st, 2024, at approximately 10:16 a.m., uniformed officers with the Syracuse Police Department responded to the 200 block of Bradley Street regarding a shooting incident. Upon arrival, officers found a 16-year-old male victim with an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to University Hospital, where he was treated in the emergency room.
