Montgomery County Man Jailed on Parole Violation Warrant
(Red Oak) The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Jesse Ray Nelson of Red Oak early this morning near Highway 34 and Evergreen Avenue. Nelson’s arrest stems from a Montgomery County Warrant for a probation violation. Authorities set his bond at $5,000.00. The Red Oak Police Department assisted the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Oklahoma Man arrested in Montgomery County
(Stanton) Montgomery County Deputies arrested an Oklahoma man on Tuesday on alcohol-related charges. Deputies arrested 54-year-old Michael A. McKay of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, for public intoxication following a brief investigation in the 600 block of Halland Street in Stanton. Authorities held McKay on a $300.00 cash bond.

(Red Oak) Opponents to the proposed Summit Carbon Solutions Pipeline filled the Montgomery County Supervisor boardroom on Tuesday morning. During the public comment period, the speakers consisted of most property owners affected by the pipeline’s proposed route. The speakers discussed the need for the supervisors to have an open discussion on the pipeline on next week’s agenda.
