WHEATON, Md. (7News) — A man is in custody after a stabbing near the Wheaton Metro Station left another man injured, according to Montgomery County police. Officials said Metro Transit police officers and county police responded to the 11000 block of Veirs Mill Road around 4:32 p.m. for a reported stabbing.
Traffic: Water Main Break Causes Delays in Gaithersburg
A water main break is causing delays on Frederick Road in Gaithersburg on Wednesday, July 17. Montgomery County Police tweeted the following at 3:52pm: “TRAFFIC ADVISORY – Professional Drive is closed at N. Frederick Ave. due to a water main break. Drivers are advised to seek an alternate route. Expect significant delays.”

Police said officers successfully stopped an illegal car meet-up involving exhibition driving Saturday in Burtonsville. Teen Heading To Prison For Role In Montgomery County Murder Of Rival Gang Member
Germantown resident Dayton Miller was sentenced to 25 years in prison with all but 15 suspended in connection to the death of 20-year-old Taon Cline in April 2022.
