Boil water advisory issued in Fonda, Mohawk
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office has announced a boil water advisory has been issued for residents in the Village of Fonda and the Town of Mohawk. The sheriff's office did not disclose how long the boil water advisory would last.
NY weather update: The severe thunderstorm warning is expected to expire at 5:45 p.m.
The warning was for Fulton, Montgomery, Saratoga and Schenectady counties. "The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty winds are still possible with these thunderstorms. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 8 p.m. for eastern and east central New York," according to the National Weather Service.
