Friday evening, members of the 1999 Montgomery-Lonsdale Redbirds MSHSL Class A state championship team returned to Montgomery to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the state title run. The Tri-City United Titans proceeded to put on a show for the gathered crowd, bringing nine runs across home plate in the bottom of the fifth to defeat Waterville-Elysian-Morristown 12-2.

Hunter Moravec started on the mound for TCU and earned the complete game victory allowing two runs on six hits while striking out two hitters.

The Titans brought the first run of the game home in the bottom of the second inning. With Keegan O'Meara at third and one out, Moravec aided his own cause with a ground ball deep to second that allowed O'Meara to score on the fielder's choice.

The Buccaneers responded in the top of the third inning with a two-out rally that saw them score two runs on a pair of fielding errors. TCU retook the leed in the bottom of the fourth inning when a wild pitch allowed Mason Novotny to score on a wild pitch before Kellen Jirik brought home Dylan Fink to score from third.

In the bottom of the the fifth, all the hard-hit balls that had previously gone to defenders found open spots on the field, allowing the Titans to put together a nine-run rally. Max Krautkremer, Keegan O'Meara, Jirik, Blaschko, Dylan Westerman Parker O'Malley all recorded RBI's for TCU, including a walk off triple from Krautkremer that scored the final two runs of the night.

As a team, the Titans finished with seven hits including two from Jirik and Krautkremer.
