Tri-City United youth soccer teams completed their 2024 spring/summer seasons last week with a cumulative record of 55 wins, 29 losses and seven ties across all competitions.

Saturday, the U10 Girls team capped a 14-1 season by winning the Southern Minnesota Soccer League (SMSL) Division 3 championship. The Titans notched a 3-2 victory over Rochester in the semifinals, then avenged their only loss of the season by besting St. Peter 5-2 in the finals.

U9 Boys (8-4-1 overall record), U12 Girls (9-2-2) and U14 Boys (10-2-1) each missed the playoff round by a single game.

2024 was TCU’s third season competing in the SMSL and was by far it’s most successful in wins and losses. Seven Titan teams took the field this season: Boys U9, U10, U12 and U14 as well as Girls U9, U10 and U12. TCU finished with an overall record of 41-25-5 in league play (six teams had an overall record of 18-39-7 in 2023).
