A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for Clinton County until midnight.

Butler, Greene, Montgomery, Preble, Warren Union (IN, and Wayne (IN) counties are no longer under a watch.

Storm Center 7 Weather Specialist Nick Dunn continues to follow this system. He has the latest TIMING and TRACK on LIVE News Center 7 at 11:00.

Dunn said a cold front is approaching and could bring a few showers or storms. Any storm that can sustain itself could be strong with damaging winds.

The overall threat of severe weather is low, according to Dunn.

As Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Austin Chaney said Friday , this is, “a conditional risk.”

It is likely the greatest risk for severe weather misses somewhere to the southeast, according to Dunn.
