Montgomeryville will be kicking off 2025 with a cluck. Raising Cane’s, the enormously popular chicken fingers chain currently dominating the market, is opening a new location in the area next year, reports the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The poultry juggernaut will be moving into the lot at 860 Bethlehem Pike that last housed a Bertucci’s. The latter restaurant has been demolished, making way for Raising Cane’s to erect a brand new, 2,913 square foot building. Plans submitted to Montgomery Township also called for a covered 1,098 square foot outdoor seating area.

A firm opening date is not yet set for the Montgomeryville store, however Raising Cane’s is hoping to begin serving customers there in early 2025. The lot has been cleared and construction is slated to begin in late July.

Raising Cane’s spokesperson Hannah Henderson tells North Penn Now that the company believes the new location will be a fruitful addition to the brand’s impressive roster. She states: ““We selected the trade area based on sales potential and strong retail, as we continue to building Raising Cane’s in the Philadelphia market.”
