I would like to introduce Dudley Lemon. Dudley is a graduate of both Glendale High School and Harding University. He has lived in Heber Springs for 48 years. Dudley was an Arkansas State Trooper for 26 years, elected Cleburne County Sheriff, and is now retired.

Little Rock man pleads guilty to federal firearms violation in Texas
BEAUMONT, Texas — A Little Rock, Arkansas, man has pleaded guilty to a federal firearms violation in the Eastern District of Texas, announced U.S. Attorney Damien M. Diggs. Jajuan Lee Bonds, 23, pleaded guilty to possession of a machine gun before U.S. Magistrate Judge Christine L. Stetson on July 2, 2024. According to information presented in court, on July 21, 2022, an officer with the Corrigan Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Bonds. The officer observed what appeared to be marijuana in a clear plastic baggie in the vehicle. During a search, the officer located a firearm outfitted with a machine gun conversion device, commonly referred to as a “Glock Switch.” The modified handgun had been previously reported stolen.
