A team of students from the Southeast Arkansas Community Based Education Center or SEACBEC along with director Devin McDiarmid and Criminal Justice teacher Jessica Jones attended the SkillsUSA national competition in Atlanta, Georgia on June 24-29, 2024. The team which consisted of Jimmy Lister, Aryia Williams, Griselda Herrera, and Stephanie Garcia competed and placed 12 out of 35.

July 31 is the deadline to take advantage of lower local rates made possible by the Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters national adoption effort, which encompasses about 400 shelters in 44 states. Wynne School District to start new year with unified high school campus, updated bell schedule, late start Mondays
WYNNE — The start of a new school year next Thursday will feel more like normal for the Wynne School District. For the first time since the March 2023 tornado, high school students will begin the year on one campus. The students split time between the Bill Thomas Tech Center and the old high school until the temporary campus was able to open last year around Labor Day.
