John Deere, one of Iowa's largest employers, announced this week it is scaling back a series of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. New Cedar Rapids Michael’s Store to Open in August
Craft lovers rejoice! A new Michael's store will open in Cedar Rapids next month!. If you love crafting or your kids need materials for a school project, you head to Michaels. The location at 1470 Twixt Town Road in Marion has been open since 1993. Now, another Michael's location will be opening up on the southwest side of Cedar Rapids. The Cedar Rapids Gazette reports that the new Michael's store will be located at 3500 Dalton Way SW. It will be in the same building as Ross Dress for Less in the Westdale Town Center.
