Allerton to host Reds, Whites, and the Blues concert

MONTICELLO, Ill. (WCIA) — As a part of its concert series, Allerton Park is hosting a Blues concert Friday night on the Gatehouse Lawn.

Billy Galt & The Blues Deacons kicks off the concert at 6 p.m., with James Armstrong following at 7:30 p.m. and playing until 9 p.m.

In addition to a cash bar, event goers can expect options from four food trucks at the concert: Moon Bean Coffee, Ice Daddy’s, Patty Daddy’s and Diggity Dawgs. Allerton allows outside food, but no outside alcohol is permitted.

The concert costs $5 per person or $10 per family. Allerton asks attendees to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets for the concert.
