Chamber of Commerce names Deb Meyer executive director

MONTICELLO — The Monticello Chamber of Commerce & Industry has named a new leader.

Following the recent departure of its longtime executive director, Marcy Anderson, the Chamber’s Board of Directors has chosen the local business organization’s second-in-command, Deb Meyer, to take over the top spot.

“Deb Meyer has agreed to take on this role and continue to represent our chamber,” Board Chairman Jarred Merchant wrote in an email to Chamber members last Thursday. “We are excited for her and know she will continue to make this Chamber the best it can be! Please extend your congratulations and any questions to her or the board.”

Meyer has been with the Chamber for nearly three years, since September 2021, serving as its administrative coordinator.
