Teens, young adults organize ‘Night of Worship’

MONTICELLO — A group of teens and young adults from a trio of local churches has teamed up to lead a “Night of Worship” this coming Friday night, featuring popular contemporary Christian music.

The youth-led community event, which is open to those of all ages, will be filled with songs, prayer and reflection beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, July 19 at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 9300 Jason Ave. NE.

Participants will be singing popular contemporary Christian songs.

The event is free, though any offerings will be given to Special Olympics MN, an organization near and dear to organizers’ hearts.

The youth who have been working hard to organize the event are from Resurrection, along with Riverside and ZOE churches.
