    Arrests, sentencings, fire calls for Aug. 8

    Wright County Sheriff arrests:

    • Amory Alban Dean, 38, of Monticello was arrested July 29 in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for domestic assault.

    • Gustavo Braulio Payan Ponce, 26, of Monticello was arrested July 31 in Buffalo on Wright County warrants for violation of a domestic abuse order for protection and interfering with emergency phone calls.

    • Christine Ann Bradley, 57, of Monticello was arrested Aug. 2 in Monticello on a charge of fourth-degree DWI.

    • Jolene Deana Lund, 38, of Monticello was arrested Aug. 2 in Monticello on a new charge of fifth-degree drug possession and a Aitkin County warrant for driving after cancellation, a St. Louis County warrant for driving after cancellation and a Carlton County warrant for third-degree DWI.

    • Mallory Marie Perowitz, 35, of Little Falls was arrested Aug. 3 in Monticello on a charge of fifth-degree drug possession.

    • Anthony Contreras Landa, 25, of St Cloud was arrested Aug. 3 in Monticello on a charge of driving after cancellation and fugitive from justice.

    • Andrew Thomas St Michel, 39, of Coon Rapids was arrested Aug. 4 in Monticello on a charge of fifth-degree drug possession.

    • Amory Alban Dean, 38, of Monticello was arrested Aug. 4 in Monticello on a charge of obstructing the legal process.

    • Mor Lee, 35, of Monticello was arrested Aug. 4 in Monticello on a charge of domestic assault.

    Wright County Sheriff by the numbers:

    From July 29-Aug. 5, there were 20 property-damage accidents, five personal-injury accidents, four hit-and-run accidents, three car-vs-deer accidents, 14 DWI arrests and 152 miscellaneous traffic violations reported.

    Wright County Attorney’s Office court sentences:

    • Amory Alban Dean, 38, of Monticello was sentenced on July 30 to six days jail and remain/reinstate on probation on all prior terms and conditions for probation violation for felony domestic assault.

    Monticello Fire Department calls for service:

    • Commercial fire alarm on Broadway Avenue East at 8:01 a.m. Aug. 1

    • Residential fire alarm on 159th Street NW at 8:46 a.m. Aug. 1

    • Lift assist on Fairhill Lane at 9:08 a.m. Aug. 2

    DNR Conservation Officer’s Report:

    • CO Trent Seamans (Big Lake) assisted with the CO Academy. Additional time was spent fielding miscellaneous complaints related to wild animals and public lands. Many Canada geese have moved into the area, a reminder that fall is fast approaching.

    • CO Adam Stennett (Annandale) worked boating and fishing enforcement. Assistance was provided to other agencies with events and staffing.
