PHOTOS: Father-Daughter Dance at Ellison Park

MONTICELLO — Local dads and their girls enjoyed a beautiful evening on Wednesday, Aug. 6 in the Lions Den at Ellison Park during the city’s annual Father-Daughter Dance.

The event returned to Ellison Park this summer after a winter version back in February was canceled due to low attendance.

Fathers, grandfathers, older brothers, uncles and any other father figures, along with their girls of all ages, were invited to this fun and meaningful night honoring their special relationship.

The evening included a DJ, games, photos and more. Games included a paper-airplane making contest, cornhole and a hula-hoop contest. There were also temporary tattoos and coloring activities.
