Senior Community Services offers home repairs, tech support
Senior Community Services, the same nonprofit agency I have worked for more than 32 years, provides the HOME Program at our center. The HOME Program can assist people ages 60-plus with repairing faucets, toilets, outlets, fixtures and more. The program also can help with minor carpentry projects, housekeeping and snow removal. Costs for these services are based on income and ability to pay. Call 763-416-7969 to apply or for more information. This fantastic program truly enables people to remain in their own homes and our center is lucky to be able to offer it. ...

Movie review: ‘Bikeriders’ takes road to nowhere
The first shot of “The Bikeriders” is of a man sitting at a bar, his face in shadow while the logo on the back of his leather jacket — “Vandals Chicago,” printed around a skull and crossbones — jumps out at us. When his face is revealed, he himself looks more iconographic than human: with his smoldering eyes and beautifully coiffed hair, Austin Butler (playing biker Benny Cross) is so obviously a movie star playing a biker punk that it’s almost parodic. ...
