Vehicle Bursts into Flames Following Crash in Danville
DANVILLE – State police have released information about a fiery crash July 3rd in Valley Township, Montour County. Troopers say 40-year-old Nathan Forker of Shamokin was traveling west on Klein Road around 11:50 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle and drove down an embankment, striking a tree. The vehicle caught fire and became fully engulfed in flames. State police say Forker fled the scene of the accident, but was located a short distance from the crash scene. The investigation will continue.
Update: The current flood advisory will expire at 10:30 p.m.
