One driver killed in two-car crash in Montour County
DANVILLE – Richard Heath, no age provided, of Danville, was killed when his car and another collided at routes 54 and 642, just north of here, about 1 p.m. Sunday, according to state police at the Milton Barracks. Driving a 2017 Hyundai Elantra, Heath was traveling north on Route 54 and pulled out in front of a 2008 Honda Element whose driver, Chad Knauer, of Milton, was not able to stop in time to avoid the collision, police said. Heath was rushed to nearby Geisinger Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 2:45 p.m., police said.
