Trout Run, Pa. — Police continue to investigate the vandalization of playground equipment at Trout Run Park.

Sometime between June 15 and 17, unknown suspects used spray paint to put graffiti on a plastic sliding board and the blacktop of the basketball court at the park located on Lycoming Creek Road, according to state police at Montoursville.

On June 19, township officials made a Facebook post asking for the public's help with the investigation.

"If anyone knows who defaced the playground and basketball court at Trout Run Park, let the Supervisors know so we can help the state police complete their investigation. Thank you," the post read.

A short time later, the township posted that community volunteers had cleaned up the graffiti at the park. "My Works at work! These young men are fantastic and dedicated workers that want our park to remain beautiful! We also have to thank the job coaches from Living Unlimited for their professional assistance!"Police have not located any suspects yet. Anyone with information may contact PSP Montoursville at 570-368-5700.
