The broadcast served as the “pregame show” before the luncheon event, which boasted 1,000 attendees. Spearheaded by U.S. Senator Joni Ernst, the event is sponsored by Mission Iowa, a non-profit organization. It begins with a motorcycle fundraiser ride to the fairgrounds and culminates with a barbeque luncheon and speeches.
