Spearheaded by U.S. Senator Joni Ernst, the event is sponsored by Mission Iowa, a non-profit organization. It begins with a motorcycle fundraiser ride to the fairgrounds and culminates with a barbeque luncheon and speeches. This year’s event raised $10,000.00 for the Iowa Veterans of Foreign Wars Foundation.
