MONTROSE, SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Pennsylvania State Police will be conducting free child safety seat inspections in Susquehanna County.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), 39% of children were killed in car crashes in 2022 from not being restrained.

PSP stated in the report that appointments are not necessary.

If anyone is unable to attend this inspection, the public may contact their local state police barracks to schedule an appointment with a certified child safety seat technician.
