Woman Killed In Moody County Crash
FLANDREAU — An 18-year-old woman died Saturday afternoon when the pickup truck she was in collided with a semi near Flandreau in Moody County. According to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, preliminary information indicates the driver of a 1999 semi-truck and trailer was traveling eastbound on SD Highway 32 near mile marker 416. The driver of a 1999 GMC pickup truck was traveling the same direction behind the semi. As the driver of the semi initiated a right-hand turn onto 475th Avenue, the driver of the pickup swerved to the left and struck the semi-trailer at 2:34 p.m.
Names released from crash that killed teenager
An 18-year-old woman died the afternoon of July 13, in a two-vehicle collision in Moody County. The Department of Public Safety released the names of the parties in the collision on July 16, after families were notified. The individual killed was Davina Marie Darveaux of Pipestone, Minn.
Crash kills teenager near Flandreau
An 18-year-old woman died the afternoon of July 13, in a two-vehicle collision in Moody County. According to preliminary crash information, the 30-year-old male driver of a semi-truck and trailer was traveling east on SD-32 near mile marker 416, about five miles west of Flandreau. A pickup with an 18-year-old female driver and 18-year-old female passenger were traveling in the same direction behind the semi. The semi's driver started a right-hand turn onto 475th Avenue, and the driver of the pickup swerved to the left and struck the semi-trailer.
