WACO, Texas (FOX 44) – After 30 years of service to the Waco Police Department, a valued member of the community is bidding farewell. Officer Gbolahan Fadeyi has announced his retirement. According to the department, Gbolahan was born in Lagos, Nigeria to a Christian family. Leaving behind the woods of Georgia and entering the rural mountains of Le Grande, Oregon, Chandler Riggs, most known for his role as Carl Grimes in “The Walking Dead,” stars in H. Nelson Tracey’s dramedy “Breakup Season,” which had its premiere in Texas at the Waco Independent Film Festival this past weekend. Tracey’s film performed exceptionally well at the festival, winning awards for Best Feature Film and Best Performance in a Feature.
