    Missing Mooresville woman found safe in Sampson County: Sheriff

    MOORESVILLE, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — A Mooresville woman who went missing Thursday morning has been found in Sampson County, according to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office .

    Bette Campagna was last seen around 11 a.m. on July 11 in the Sherills Ford area of Catawba County.

    Officials say Ms. Campagna is in the early stages of dementia. Just after 5 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office announced that she was found safe in Sampson County.
