Guardian Angels Care Center has announced the promotion of Carlie Heinecke to administrator.

“I eagerly anticipate her visits to the gift shop; her presence radiates warmth and care, making everyone feel valued and cherished,” one resident remarked.

A graduate of Rogers High School in 2019, Heinecke distinguished herself as both an athlete and a scholar, participating in soccer, basketball, and track while also earning membership in the National Honors Society. Her commitment to community service extended beyond her academic and athletic pursuits, as she dedicated her time to volunteering for various organizations, including her church and initiatives like Feed My Starving Children and CROSS.

Continuing her academic journey at Concordia College, Moorhead, Heineck pursued a degree in healthcare leadership with concentrations in administration and long-term care, along with a minor in psychology. Her dedication and hard work were evident as she graduated summa cum laude.

During her time at Concordia, she participated in numerous clubs and activities while also excelling as a collegiate track athlete for Concordia College. Her passion for health care and service led her to engage in volunteer work with organizations like Family Health Care and as an SMP Health activities assistant.

Following her graduation, Heinecke embarked on a path toward professional licensure and leadership. She completed a rigorous internship for Guardian Angels, accruing 500 practicum hours to deepen her understanding of health care administration. In August, she began her journey as an administrator in training, which prepared her for her new role as administrator.

“As we embark on this new chapter under Carlie’s leadership, we are confident that her innovative ideas, steadfast commitment to quality care, and unwavering dedication to the mission will continue to elevate Guardian Angels as a beacon of excellence in long-term care,” said Traci Larson, president/CEO of Guardian Angels.

Guardian Angels Care Center offers services for transitional care and long-term care. From specialized care plans tailored to individual needs to a range of therapeutic services, Guardian Angels assists with daily activities, provides rehabilitation services and fosters a sense of community through engaging activities and events.

Under Heinecke’s leadership, Guardian Angels Care Center looks forward to continuing its mission of providing exceptional health care, housing and supportive services to seniors and their families in the spirit of Christ’s love.
