Fall Clean Up Week - September 9-13
Fall Clean-Up Week is Mon., Sept. 9-Fri., Sept. 13. This service is for Romeoville residents only. Garbage pick-up will be on your regular scheduled day with unlimited pick-up of large items, however, large items should not weigh over 50lbs. If they are, they need to be broken down and bundled for the driver to safely to pick up. No construction materials will be taken. Hazardous Waste is handled by Waste Management's At Your Door Program.

CHICAGO (CBS)—A front moving through the area Friday night could bring a few showers and storms to the Chicago area.The warning for the Indiana counties of Newton and Jasper expired at 6:15 p.m.The best chance for a storm is in areas south of Chicago, in the Kankakee River Valley, and in Northwest Indiana. Otherwise, expect a mostly cloudy sky with lows in the mid-60s.Mostly sunny and less humid for Saturday. Highs will be in the low to mid-80s.A stronger front arrives on Sunday morning, pushing highs to the mid-70s. The front will also produce strong winds out of the north, building the waves over Lake Michigan.A beach hazard with dangerous swimming and boating conditions will be in effect all Sunday and much of Monday, Labor Day. Nathan Eovaldi tossed a gem as the Rangers beat the Chicago White Sox 2-1 at Guaranteed Rate Field. The Rangers' starting pitcher tossed seven scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts to improve to 10-and-7 on the season.
