Santa stuck on roof for PEOPLE’S PLACE holiday fundraiser
KINGSTON- The calendar reads July, but People’s Place is embracing holiday spirit early with a fundraiser that will deliver presents in December. “Celebrating Santa” is a cheer-filled fundraiser with 38 local volunteers stuck on the roof of the People’s Place dressed in full Santa attire. The goal is to raise funds for the beloved Project Santa program.

Listeria outbreak sickens at least 12 in New York
NEW YORK – At least a dozen cases of listeria have been reported across New York state in connection to a national outbreak linked to deli meat.The state Health Department said four of those cases were in New York City, two were in Suffolk County and one was in Nassau County.
