Potentially Deadly Veggies Sold In New York Stores
A voluntary recall has been expanded due to the potential health threat it poses in New York State. Wiers Farm Inc. of Willard, Ohio, is expanding its July 12, 2024, recall. The recall was initiated by findings reported by the Michigan Department of Agriculture. The vegetables at the center of the recall may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, according to the Food and Drug Administration.

Domestic violence shelters and service providers across New York State now have access to free Overdose Emergency Kits. This initiative is a partnership between the New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence (OPDV), the Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS), and the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS). Man admits to Schuylerville stabbing
A Saratoga man has admitted to a stabbing last November in Schuylerville. Ryan Danaher, 37, admitted to stabbing a person in the neck with a knife. The stabbing took place on Myers Lane on Nov. 17. Police said it stemmed from an argument between two people who knew each other. The victim had serious injuries.
