Webb also has a well-known Kentucky coach to call as a former teammate for Muhlenberg’s American Legion baseball team back in the late 1970s, Ray Harper (who played at tiny Bremen, one of eight campuses that eventually formed the current Muhlenberg County High School), current Jacksonville State head men’s basketball coach, who also won two NCAA Division 2 national titles at Kentucky Wesleyan in Owensboro.
