New clinic coming to Grace
The location of the clinic scheduled to begin construction in Grace next year. The location is just south of the City Park. At last week’s City Council meeting, the council was joined by Kent Loosle, CEO of the Caribou Medical Center, members of the CMC team, and a number of doctors living in Grace to announce the acquisition of land for a planned clinic coming to town sometime in the near future. “We’ve met with the architects. We want to design the facility through the winter, then begin construction when the weather changes in the spring,” Loosle said.

Etna’s JACZ Drive-In featured in Jeff Foxworthy Segment
A local Star Valley business found themselves in part of a television segment with comedian Jeff Foxworthy on Wednesday. Jeff Roper with KIFI Local News 8 in Idaho Falls had Foxworth on the air. The two were doing a segment called “Redneck or not?” where Roper would show Foxworthy local images and ask if they were redneck. Roper showed a video clip of the famous Fry Sauce wagon at JACZ Drive-In in Etna. “A trailer with fry sauce in it. That’s hall-of-fame level redneck,” joked Foxworthy.

Laser engraver causes house fire in Blackfoot
BLACKFOOT — A laser engraver was the cause of a house fire in Blackfoot Monday evening. The Blackfoot Fire Department responded to the blaze at 5 p.m. on Hoff Drive. Blackfoot Fire Chief Bryon Howell said the property owner was using a laser engraver and cutting wood products. She stepped away and smelled smoke, he said.
