Brush Chamber of Commerce welcomes new State Farm agent
On Monday, the Brush Chamber of Commerce welcomed State Farm agent Dylan Hyland and his wife Hannah, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in their new office on Clayton Street. The couple moved to Morgan County from Denver when they adopted their two daughters from foster care. They were looking for a smaller and more personal community. Hannah worked at the Children’s Hospital, and Dylan, who was recruited by State Farm, moved to the area during the COVID-19 pandemic.
13th Judicial District announces District Court vacancy
The 13th Judicial District Nominating Commission will meet July 30, at the Morgan County Justice Center, 400 Warner St., Fort Morgan, CO 80701 to interview and select nominees for appointment by the governor to the office of district judge for the 13th Judicial District (Kit Carson, Logan, Morgan, Phillips, Sedgwick, Washington and Yuma counties). The vacancy will be created by the retirement of the Honorable Charles M. Hobbs. The vacancy will occur on Oct. 2.
