Diesel price update: Survey pinpoints Morganton's cheapest

(MORGANTON, GA) The price of diesel varies by as much as $0.11 in the greater Morganton area, according to a recent price survey.

The title of cheapest station in the Morganton area went to Murphy USA at 445 Progress Circle, according to a Tuesday survey by GasBuddy. Diesel was listed there at just $3.08 per gallon. The most expensive station in the city was $3.19, at Valero at 8101 Appalachian Hwy, the survey found:

The average price across the greater Morganton area was $3.13, according to data collected by gas price app GasBuddy.
