Approximately 162 new Iredell-Statesville Schools’ employees were welcomed this week at South Iredell High School in Troutman for the system’s new employee orientation. Employee charged with stealing SC DMV funds
A Camden woman faces a felony charge for allegedly using state computers to steal thousands of dollars while working for the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles. SLED agents arrested Julia Haley Baker, 22. She was charged with computer crime in the first degree and booked at the Kershaw County Detention Center and will be prosecuted by the Fifth Circuit Solicitor's Office. If convicted, she could be fined up to $50,000 and/or sentenced to up to five years in prison.
