2 men perish in Falls of Rough boat crash, 1 person airlifted
Two people have been killed in a boat crash in Falls of Rough. The incident occurred Sunday morning at approximately 12:30 when a bass boat, containing two Grayson County men, crashed into a pontoon boat containing several people on Rough River Lake in the Cave Creek area of the park.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - A few isolated showers are dotting the morning commute this Monday, but the daytime hours will not be an all-out washout. Chances for thunderstorms will return this afternoon before more rain and storm chances return for the late evening and overnight. Some storms could be strong-to-severe with gusty winds, small hail, and a quick spin-up that cannot be ruled out. Stay weather aware and have multiple ways to receive alerts, including one that can wake you up.

Showers and storms are expected throughout the day. A portion of the viewing area is under a marginal risk (level 1 out of 5) for a few stronger storms. The main threats for any storms would be stronger wind gusts and heavy rainfall that could lead to some localized flooding. Chance of precipitation 60% before 6 p.m.

McAlister’s Deli coming to Hopkinsville
After sitting lonely for some time, it’s looking like the old Pizza Hut location in Hopkinsville in front of Lowes is getting a new restaurant. Fort Campbell Boulevard will soon be home to a McAlister’s Deli, which was confirmed to WHOP News by the McAlister’s team—it is tentatively set to open on October 14, as long as nothing occurs to postpone that timeframe.
