MORGANTOWN, WV ( FOX 44 ) — A trip to Morgantown wasn’t kind for the Baylor baseball team with the Mountaineers completing the series sweep against the Bears with a 13-4 win on Sunday.

Cole Posey recorded most of the scoring offense for the Bears, hitting back-to-back home runs on his way to a 3-3, three-RBI day to go along with a walk.

Baylor jumped out to a 4-2 lead in the top of the fifth after West Virginia tied the game with a two-run jack in the bottom of the second. The Mountaineers took over from that point.

West Virginia scored 11 unanswered runs in the final five innings to take the potential victory away from the Bears and pull into third place in the Big 12 conference standings.

Baylor suffers their fifth-consecutive loss in Big 12 play and will look to rebound with a midweek contest at home on Tuesday, April 30th at 6:30 p.m. against UT Arlington.
