MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Schedules for this weekend’s NCAA baseball Super Regional contests were released by the NCAA Tuesday morning. West Virginia (36-22), making its first-ever appearance in this round of the NCAA Tournament, will have the national spotlight on it all weekend.

Game one against North Carolina (45-14) in the Chapel Hill Super Regional will begin on Friday, June 7, at 6 p.m. ET. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2.

Game two is slated for Saturday, June 8, at 8 p.m. ET, also on ESPN2.

Game three, if necessary, is set for Sunday, June 9, at 3 p.m. ET. That contest will also air on ESPN2.

All three games of the best-of-three series will be held at North Carolina’s Bryson Field at Boshamer Stadium (listed capacity: 4,100).

The winner will advance to the College World Series.

UNC is making its 11th appearance in the Super Regional round and is gunning for its first trip to Omaha since 2018. The Tar Heels, the No. 4 national seed in the tournament, advanced by defeating LSU 4-3 in extra innings late Monday night.

West Virginia is making its first-ever Super Regional appearance after going 3-0 in the Tucson Regional. In Randy Mazey’s final season as WVU skipper, the Mountaineers captured their first Regional title by defeating Grand Canyon 10-6 on Sunday evening in Tucson, Arizona.
