    West Virginia Dairy Queens donating $1 per Blizzard to WVU Medicine Children’s Thursday

    MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — Thursday is Dairy Queen’s Miracle Treat Day, meaning that you can help your local children’s hospital by enjoying a sweet treat.

    The day will support Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) hospitals in 47 states in Washington, D.C., including WVU Medicine Children’s in West Virginia.

    For every Blizzard purchased at one of the 14 participating locations in the area on July 25, Dairy Queen will donate $1 to WVU Medicine Children’s.

    Employees of the Suncrest Town Centre Dairy Queen in Morgantown said that they are experiencing above average foot traffic that day as people come to help support the cause.

    Participating locations in north central West Virginia are in Morgantown, Clarksburg, Nutter Fort, Salem, Bridgeport, Fairmont, Weston, Grafton, Buckhannon, Reedsville, Kingwood and Elkins.
