According to a criminal complaint filed by the Morgantown Police Department, on July 3, the Circuit Court of Monongalia County granted custody of five children under the care of Megan Grimm, 34, to the Monongalia County Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR) due to “there being imminent danger to the physical wellbeing of the children” and there being “probable cause to believe that additional abuse and/or neglect would occur.”

On that same date, DHHR and CPS workers contacted Grimm to notify her of the court order, and during that time Grimm “expressed non-compliance with the order and stated that she would be contacting her attorney,” officers said.

On July 10, officers spoke with a DHHR and CPS worker who stated that Grimm “did not contact” the office and that “multiple attempts had been made to contact Grimm via phone and at her last known address” with no results being made; officers noted that “[a]t the date of the complaint, DHHR/CPS are unaware of the location of the children.”

Grimm has been charged with concealment or removal of a minor. She is being held in North Central Regional Jail on $20,000 bond.

According to police, Grimm was located at a residence in Ohio with the children on Aug. 1, and CPS did go to Ohio to retrieve the children. All children are currently in the care of CPS; Grimm was arrested and extradited back to West Virginia as of that date.

Definitely hide your kids! CPS is as corrupt as ever! CPS took my kids all bc I told my daughter NO she figured out how to manipulate the system quickly CPS didn't investigate anything..didn't talk to anyone yet they made allegations against me that was send my ass to prison allegations not gonna lie really scared the daylights out of me. it was over 7 months before I ever had an initial hearing they put stuff in that report of supposed conversation we had that even to me was mind blowing my kids were placed with the principal of their school how convenient which is the reason all the crap started in first place bc I told them NO of going somewhere with the principal bc of their unruly and defiant behavior. my court date was held off long enough for them to become legal foster parents to be able to retain my kids. in eyes of CPS they were deemed better parents bc of their educational standing in community heck

The more children they have in the system, the more money they receive. So they only care about themselves and not the children at all. 😢
