Mosquito Spray Scheduled for Part of Edison Township
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - Middlesex County Mosquito Extermination Commission will be spraying a part of Edison Township on Monday from 6:30 PM to 11:59 PM. The rain date will be Wednesday. The spray will be applied to the communities between Oak Tree Road, Warwick Road, Stephenville Parkway, and Delancy Street. A map of the spray zone can be seen by clicking here.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER The commission will be spraying the chemical Etofenprox and will be applied from the ground by a truck using low volume (LV) or ultra-low volume (ULV) techniques. All chemicals used are approved by the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station for the control of adult mosquitoes. Although these chemicals are not harmful to humans, residents are still advised to avoid exposure. The county advises residents to limit their time outdoors while spraying is being conducted, do not leave animals outside at this time, and do not touch any surfaces that are still wet from the chemicals. BTHS alumna receives Sharing Network Foundation scholarship
BRICK TOWNSHIP — Kimmy Kenny of Brick Township, who is a 2024 graduate of Brick Township High School, was one of seven high school students awarded scholarships from the Sharing Network Foundation.
