The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is down to less than a day of blood for area patients, and it's urging eligible donors to give as soon as possible. Missouri woman arrested on suspected drug distribution in Osage County
A Missouri woman was arrested on suspected drug distribution charges in Osage County on Monday. Sheriff Chris Wells says the arrest of 37-year-old Kyra Merriman of Kansas City developed after an alleged traffic infraction. An Osage County K-9 unit stopped Merriman at US Highway 75 and 189th Road, about five miles north of Lyndon, and allegedly found illegal narcotics.

Good evening, Heartland, we are tracking a few isolated thunderstorms this evening. The main hazards of these storms are lightning and brief heavy downpours that could cause some flash flooding concerns. However, a majority of people will remain dry this evening. As we lose the daytime heating, we will start to see drier conditions later tonight. Wednesday morning will be mostly cloudy, with lows in the low 70s. As we head into the afternoon, the daytime heating will help bring back the afternoon showers and storms across the Heartland, a very similar set up to today. Highs will be in the upper 80s. This pattern of dry mornings with showers and isolated storms in the afternoon continues through the end of the week.
