Arkansas man pleads guilty to murdering 5-year-old boy, state police say
MARIANNA, Ark. - An Arkansas man was sentenced to 60 years in prison after pleading guilty to murdering a 5-year-old boy, according to Arkansas State Police (ASP). ASP said the 34-year-old Nathan Bridges of Lee County pled guilty on Monday, July 15 to charges of first-degree murder and first-degree battery. In 2022, he murdered 5-year-old Blu Rolland in the Moro community, west of Marianna in Lee County.

Jeff Moore from Batesville caught this 25-inch brown trout and released it after the photo was taken to fight another day. He caught it earlier this week, just upriver of Jenkins Fishing Service dock in Calico Rock. The water was in perfect shape at this time, but by midweek, flooding in north Arkansas had caused the river at Calico Rock to rise to 18 feet. In other spots, overflowing water wrecked some trout docks and caused significant damage.
