Blair Media Blood Blitz: Jack gives donation on LIVE TV
ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — The 36th Annual Blair Media Blood Blitz is back on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. This is one of the largest blood drives in the county, and the event runs until 6 p.m. at the Altoona Junior High Field House. Walk ins are welcome, and everyone is encouraged to donate if you can. Our very own Jack McCune was out live on location giving a donation and learning more about the process of what it takes to donate.

Hobby Horse Derby Event to Benefit Jana Marie Foundation
Jana Marie Foundation will host its first Hobby Horse Derby from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 26, at Calvary Harvest Fields in Boalsburg. John Schneider selected as new head golf coach at Penn State DuBois
DuBOIS, Pa. – Penn State DuBois athletics has announced the selection of John Schneider as its new head golf coach for the upcoming fall season. A former assistant golf professional, Schneider started his career in golf at Outdoor Country Club in York before moving on to a similar position at Treasure Lake, a semi-private residential development located near DuBois, which is home to two Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) rated golf courses. While his professional career has taken him outside of golf now, Schneider has still won several club championships at Beechwoods Golf Course, located in Falls Creek.
