Morrison County Board Briefs

In other business Tuesday, July 9, the Morrison County Board of Commissioners:

• Approved a tax abatement of $1,822 for Stephen Gross;

• Approved the Heart of the Lakes Ducks Unlimited to hold a raffle and bingo on Sunday, July 21 at the Friendly Inn in Scandia Valley;

• Approved the Lincoln Area Business Association’s premise permit to conduct electronic pull tabs and electronic bingo, located at Lincoln Liquors in Cushing; and

• Approved new food, pool and lodging licenses for a vacation home rental called Cozy Nest, LLC, owned by Patrick and April Mastey at 25459 Thomas Shores Drive in Hillman for $500, for a mobile food unit called Something Good Limited Liability Company, owned by Jenna Niemann and Elizabeth Cory in Staples for $232.50 and for The Meltdown LLC, owned by Michelle Borchert at 39510 County Road 17 in Browerville for $155.

The next Morrison County Board of Commissioners meeting is a planning session at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, in the Board Room at the Morrison County Government Center.
