Pierz appoints new city treasurer

Kaye Stangl was sworn in as the new city treasurer of Pierz during the City’s Monday, May 13 City Council meeting. City Clerk Sarah Fyten had been performing the duties of city treasurer since Jan. 17. With Stangl now serving as treasurer, every position as part of the Pierz City Council is now filled. Pictured are (from left): City Administrator Laura Wacker, Stangl and Mayor John Perleberg.
