Assault charge dismissed against Pierz man

2024-06-14

Felony charges of second-degree assault and threats of violence were dismissed against Michael Louis Marshik in Morrison County District Court. The charges stemmed from an April 5 incident.

The charges were dismissed due to Marshik not being competent to stand trial, according to County Attorney Brian Middendorf.
