First-degree possession charges dropped for Strong, Sumner, Goodman

Felony charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance were dismissed against Patrick Burton Strong, 28, Bemidji, Leticia Jean Sumner, 24, Red Lake, and Danielle Diane Goodman, 26, Bemidji, in Morrison County District Court. The charges stemmed from an April 1 incident.

The charges were dismissed because they were indicted in federal court for the same offense, according to County Attorney Brian Middendorf.
