    The following summaries are sporting events on Sept. 26, compiled by Nick Tabatt.

    Volleyball

    Swanville Bulldogs defeated Browerville-Eagle Valley in three sets (25-22, 25-20, 25-23).

    Pierz Pioneers won the border battle against the Little Falls Flyers 0-3 (25-13, 25-20, 25-23)

    Upsala Cardinals lose to Osakis in three sets (21-25, 26-28, 19-25).

    Royalton Royals upsets Kimball in five sets (27-25, 13-25, 15-25, 25-20, 15-8).

    Swimming and Diving

    Little Falls Swimming and diving team fell to Milaca 79-98. ther junior varsity team lost 54-80.

    Soccer

    Little Falls Flyers girls soccer team hosted St. Cloud Cathedral, losing 0-3.

    Little Falls Flyers boys lost the road game to St. Cloud Cathedral 0-4.

    Tennis

    Little Falls Flyers tennis team dominated Long-Prairie-Grey Eagle in its last regular season match, winning 7-0

    Pierz Pioneers tennis team beat Aitkin 7-0.

    Cross Country

    Royalton Royals cross country boys and girls competed at the Johnnie Bread Invite at St. John's Prep Top Royals girls runner Chloe Reedy placed fourth with a time of 21:26. Cody Bieniek earned a personal best of 19:49, good enough for 16th place. His brother Grady also earned a personal best in JV boys, taking second in 22:43.7.

    Pierz Pioneers cross country varsity girls won the Foley Falcon Invite, taking first place out of five teams. Clara Tax finished in fourth place, clocking in at 23:12.1. The Pioneers varsity boys took second place out of six teams. Wyatt Betsinger took second (17:59.1).
